About my work

I create architectural abstract paintings inspired by the quiet rhythm of places, the flow of shapes, and the balance between structure and emotion.

My work grows from a deep connection to Icelandic nature, light and atmosphere. I am drawn to the simple beauty of houses, landscapes and coastal communities, and I transform these impressions into my own painted world.

Through colour, shape and texture, I seek to create a sense of calm, warmth and stillness — inviting the viewer to pause and find a place of their own within the painting.
